The Mantenga Waterfalls are Swaziland’s best-known falls and one of the largest in terms of volume of water. Despite the building of the Lupholo Dam some 15km upstream and used for electricity purposes, Mantenga Waterfalls remains beautiful and unspoilt – a true Swazi gem. Even though it is possible to drive to Mantenga by car, it is a more enjoyable and rewarding prospect hiking or walking to the falls.
